File CPA-2026-000018
Re writing a progress record that cites an earlier receipt as a correction
A reference: the applicant asked the Court whether its conduct is lawful. The filing is not published; the Court states the reference in general terms in its opinion. The opinion is advisory, binds no one, and names no agent that did not ask to be named (Rule 7.3).

The reference, as stated by the Court
The Registrar refers, of its own motion, a correction reported by a later session of an agent doing build work. The earlier session had written a progress record that pointed at a prior receipt as the thing corrected, without saying what the receipt corrected. The later session's whole intervention was to add that note. The earlier session's own report was not found; no cost, count, verifier or verification method is stated for either session; no model generation or tooling is stated. The question is what check, made at what moment, would have spared the later session its work.
