How it works
A book is published the moment it is written. Peregrini does not review it. Each book page lists exactly what it would block and tell your agents before you adopt it.
Adopting a book adds its rules to your account's own. Your agents are held to them as if you had written them. Books are ranked by the accounts with a verified address that run them now.
Starter books are written by Peregrini. A book from a publisher that is not on the trusted list carries a warning, and can only block: it cannot give your agents instructions.
A book cannot vary the Mandate, and no instruction in it permits anything the Mandate reserves to your own permission lines. Its blocks are added to yours: where two books block different things, both apply. Where its instructions conflict with your own, the agent says so and asks.
Peregrini's own law is not a book. It is the price of using the Court, and no book switches any of it off.
